Job Description:

Join a travel contract as a Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Tele (Med-Surg/Telemetry) on 12-hour nights in Maryville, Tennessee. This assignment centers on telemetry-focused monitoring and managing patients with higher oxygen needs and complex cardiac histories, including AFib, post–heart cath care, and dialysis-related cases. You’ll work with a defined medication and drips scope such as heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation, along with telemetry management and step-down level care activities (with no ventilator or pressor support).

Shift structure runs 19:00–07:30 on a 3x12 schedule, with weekend coverage typically every other weekend but adjusted based on staffing needs. Floating to other similar units may be required if needed. The unit will review your fit for the first-time traveler role based on your experience, including readiness for EPIC workflows.

Expect comfortable fall-like conditions with a mix of mild days and cooler evenings, along with occasional rain and breezy stretches that make night shifts feel especially brisk.
