Job Description:

Join a travel Registered Nurse (MS/Tele) team in Chesapeake, Virginia, in a coastal setting just minutes from Virginia Beach and Norfolk. This 13-week contract features night shifts with a reliable structure: 4x12 hours (19:00–07:30), working nights, weekdays, every other weekend (EOW), and rotating holidays as scheduled. You’ll support patients on a MedSurg/Tele and Vascular Access-focused unit with telemetry interpretation and IV start skills as part of your day-to-day work.

What makes this assignment unique is the pace and variety of the MS/Tele floor combined with vascular access needs—ideal for an RN who is comfortable staying steady through night shifts and maintaining strong tele rhythm assessment while providing consistent care for a typical ratio of 1:7. The facility requires an EPIC-proficient traveler (no exceptions) and expects experience aligned with the demands of the unit. Bring your BLS (AHA) certification, 2+ years of relevant experience, and be ready to float within the unit as needed.

Outside the shift, Chesapeake offers plenty of ways to recharge—trail walks, water views, and an easy drive to surrounding coastal highlights.
