Job Description:

Join Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS, as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This 13-week travel contract offers a unique opportunity to work on the 3rd floor, where you'll manage cardiac monitoring, medication administration, respiratory support, and post-surgical care. Your nights will be lively but rewarding, with a 12-hour shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM, averaging 36 hours per week. Expect to collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals in a busy yet supportive setting, utilizing advanced equipment like EKG, Bipap/CPAP, and high-flow heated devices. Bring your acute care hospital experience, especially in cardiac and respiratory care, along with BLS, ALS, and NIH certifications. The unit appreciates team players with strong communication skills and leadership qualities, such as relief charge experience. This assignment promises a fulfilling experience in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow professionally.
