Job Description:

This 13-week travel RN opportunity calls for an experienced Operating Room Nurse ready to step into a fast-paced surgical environment. Working 10-hour days, you'll be circulating and scrubbing in a variety of cases including General, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics (with trauma focus), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, ENT, and Vascular procedures. The role involves assisting in high-stakes surgeries, often in a Level I Trauma Center, and requires prior OR experience in hospital or medical center settings. The assignment offers a chance to sharpen your skills in complex cases like Robotics and DaVinci procedures, while enjoying the chance to work with electronic medical records (Epic) and explore a variety of surgical specialties. You will be crucial in supporting surgical teams across diverse operations, providing vital assistance in sterile and non-sterile roles, and preparing equipment for procedures. This assignment is suitable for travel nurses with a solid background in operating room nursing and an active Iowa license, seeking a dynamic environment and exposure to high-level trauma cases.
