Job Description:

This intensive 13-week contract in Kenosha, Wisconsin offers a unique opportunity for experienced critical care professionals to work in a Level IV Trauma Center. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, allowing you to become well-acquainted with the night owl rhythm while providing care across a broad patient age range. You will be supporting a unit designed for efficiency, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, and contributing to a high-functioning emergency department that operates with dedicated team members, including a hospitalist and ED physician available around the clock. Daily responsibilities focus on utilizing your critical care skill set, managing complex cases, and operating advanced equipment within the EPIC charting system. This assignment provides a rewarding chance to immerse yourself in a busy hospital environment while enjoying a well-structured schedule and the support of seasoned staff members.
