Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit specializing in multi-trauma, neuro surgery, and emergency cases. You'll be covering night shifts of 12 hours, primarily from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, for a duration of 13 weeks, providing critical care in a major trauma environment. The role involves managing complex procedures such as craniotomies, spinal fusions, and external fixators, as well as coordinating with the emergency response team when necessary. This assignment is ideal for nurses who thrive in unpredictable situations and are comfortable with flexibility regarding unit assignments and emergency response expectations. Your work will be integral to supporting patients with severe neurological injuries, trauma-related injuries, and postoperative neuro care, with a focus on stabilization, monitoring, and intervention.
