Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is designed for experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurses ready to step into a fast-paced pulmonary unit. You'll work night shifts of 12 hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, providing care for patients with conditions such as COPD, asthma, trachs, chest tubes, and ventilator management (except vents). Expect to interpret dysrhythmias, manage complex cases, and work within systems like EPIC and PYXIS. Floating within the service line is required, and prior testing in EKG is mandatory before start. The unit maintains a 5:1 ratio, with occasional adjustments to 6:1, and offers a self-scheduling model balanced with leadership's RTO requests. This assignment offers a vibrant workspace with a focus on pulmonary care, where your skills will directly impact patient outcomes in a supportive team environment.
