Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse contract offers a chance to work in a maternity float pool, covering both L&D and postpartum units. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, with an expectation of working approximately 48 hours per week over 26 weeks. The facility welcomes travelers with 1-2+ years of experience and will consider those with travel backgrounds. You’ll perform both labor and postpartum care, floating between departments as needed, and must be comfortable working in an intermediate or above AWOHNN environment. Note that successful completion of medication and telemetry exams during orientation is required, with a focus on inpatient maternal care in a fast-paced setting. This assignment provides an opportunity to experience a bustling hospital environment, focusing on maternal health while enjoying the flexibility of floating across units. Pending Massachusetts license is acceptable to submit, with the requirement to secure the license within 48 hours of an offer. Only one attempt is allowed for exam success, so preparation is key.
