Job Description:

This 13-week travel RN contract in Fort Wayne, IN, offers a chance to step into a hospital setting where you'll handle general medical-surgical duties during 12-hour night shifts. You'll work primarily on adult medical-surgical units caring for a diverse patient population with conditions ranging from chronic illnesses like COPD and Diabetes to acute infections and neurological issues. The role involves assessments, care planning, medication management, and operating a variety of medical equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacs, and telemetry monitors. This assignment features floating to related medical units and includes comprehensive orientation, including Epic training, to get you fully prepared for the hospital's workflows. Expect a steady schedule with three weekend shifts every four weeks, providing an engaging yet manageable experience. Your expertise with general MedSurg nursing, along with at least 1.5 years of relevant experience at a large hospital, will make you a perfect fit for this opportunity.
