Job Description:

Join a busy medical surgical and telemetry unit at Nebraska Medical Center as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. This role features 36 hours per week, working 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. You'll be caring for a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pulmonary, sepsis, GI, endocrine, cardiac, renal, and psychiatric cases. The unit is split between behavioral health and general medical surgical patients, with frequent float opportunities across multiple floors. Experience in a large, urban hospital and EPIC charting are required, along with a minimum of two years of RN experience. BLS is mandatory; ACLS and CPI are preferred. The schedule includes working weekends, with two major holidays required. This assignment is ideal for a nurse comfortable with fast-paced environments and floating within scope.
