Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in Ambulatory Surgery at a busy facility in Charleston, SC. This 13-week contract offers a unique chance to work in a specialized perioperative setting, focusing on orthopedic, ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, and surgical oncology cases. You'll be responsible for preoperative patient preparation, intraoperative support, and post-anesthesia recovery, working closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff. The schedule includes 10-hour days, four days a week, with some late shifts and opportunities to float within the unit to meet departmental needs. This role is ideal for experienced OR nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating across specialties. The assignment provides a chance to refine your perioperative skills while experiencing the hospitality and charm of Charleston’s medical community.
