Job Description:

This contract opportunity is for a registered nurse eager to work in a fast-paced Adult and Geriatric step-down unit within a 35-bed facility in Omaha, Nebraska. You will be scheduled for 12-hour night shifts and expected to commit approximately 36 hours per week over a 20-week period. The work involves managing patients with complex cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions, including titrating various drips such as Cardizem and seizure medications. The role requires a positive attitude, strong communication, and critical thinking skills to navigate a busy environment where you'll collaborate closely with charge nurses and patient care techs. Certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with an emphasis on adherence to policies like artificial nail restrictions and radius rules. This is a great chance to experience a vibrant hospital setting while honing your acute care skills.
