Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Post Partum unit in Spokane, Washington, for a 21-week contract. This role offers the chance to work with low-risk postpartum and antepartum patients in a 23-bed facility. You’ll care for mother-baby couples, perform assessments, assist with breastfeeding and neonatal vital signs, and handle newborn procedures such as bilirubin monitoring and NAS management. The shift follows a 12-hour day schedule, and the assignment requires a minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse and at least 1 year of Mother-Baby/Postpartum experience. Experience with newborn care techniques, IV skills, and neonatal lab procedures is preferred. This position offers a supportive team environment with designated support staff on-site 24/7, including lactation nurses, charge nurses, and hospitalist coverage.
