Job Description:

This cardiac ICU travel nursing position at The Johns Hopkins Hospital offers a compelling opportunity to work within a high-acuity environment, caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions and devices. Your expertise with Impella, IABP, PA catheters, CRRT, and other cardiac equipment will be vital as you manage patients with acute myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock, and congestive heart failure. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, providing a chance to immerse yourself in advanced cardiac care procedures while experiencing the unique rhythm of Baltimore's premier medical facility. The schedule includes working three out of six weekends per month, with on-call responsibilities and holiday shifts as needed, making this a demanding but rewarding assignment for seasoned cardiac ICU nurses.
