Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers a chance to work in Peoria’s MedSurg Women's Care Unit, where you'll support postpartum, hysterectomy, mastectomy, and general medical/surgical patients. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, providing a unique opportunity to hone skills like NG placement, Foley insertion, blood administration, and managing heparin and insulin drips. You'll work alongside charge nurses and dedicated PCTs, ensuring smooth patient flow and quality care. This assignment stands out with its local rate structure, allowing clinicians residing within 50 miles to receive a slight bill rate reduction. Expect a mix of routine and challenging cases, with shifts scheduled to meet the unit's critical needs.
