Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Florence, SC, for a 13-week contract working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This role puts you at the heart of a busy med/surg unit, with opportunities to gain experience in orthopedics and neuro. You'll be responsible for managing a variety of patient needs, supporting a patient ratio of approximately 6-7 patients per nurse, and providing essential care within a collaborative environment. Every other weekend work is required, and while no on-call is typically necessary, there may be times you’re called in due to census needs. The facility encourages float between similar units and sister facilities, offering a diverse experience during your assignment. Experience with orthopedics and neuro patients is preferred, and you must hold a South Carolina or Compact license prior to start. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is also required.
