Job Description:

Join a skilled medical surgical float nursing team at a prominent short-term acute care hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. This role is ideal for experienced registered nurses with strong orthopedic backgrounds who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable floating across different units to meet hospital needs. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, covering a 20-week contract that offers a weekly gross pay of approximately $1,727.40. The assignment includes supporting patient care in a Level II Trauma facility with a 330-bed capacity. Travelers are encouraged to request time off for major holidays, with approvals managed at the discretion of the hospital management. The hospital supports Cerner charting and provides free parking for travelers. Uniform requirements are black scrubs or a Cabell T-Shirt, with specific surgical attire when reporting to surgery. This unique opportunity provides the chance to gain valuable experience in a busy teaching hospital, floating within scope, and working within a supportive healthcare team.
