Job Description:

This travel healthcare assignment places you in the fast-paced environment of a Level 1 trauma emergency department in Peoria, Illinois. As an ER RN, you'll be expected to handle a wide variety of patient cases, from newborns to the critically ill, including stroke, cardiac arrest, trauma, and other acute conditions. The role involves managing multiple drips, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and responding swiftly to life-threatening situations—all while working 12-hour mids shifts. This position offers a unique opportunity to experience a teaching hospital setting with experienced staff, including charge nurses and house supervisors, who support your efforts. You'll be part of a team that cares for approximately three to five patients at a time, providing critical interventions and supporting the trauma team when needed.
