Job Description:

Join the team on the Acute Stroke Unit at Rochester General Hospital as a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care. You'll work a 4x12 night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend, providing essential nursing support to patients with neurological disorders, stroke, and acute medical needs. This role involves managing complex patient conditions with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 to 1:7, utilizing EPIC charting, interpreting dysrhythmias, and responding swiftly to emergency situations. Your expertise in IV therapy, respiratory management, and adherence to isolation precautions will be vital in delivering evidence-based, high-quality care in a tertiary hospital setting. This assignment offers a chance to deepen your skills in neurocritical care while working in a supportive environment rich in resources and innovation.
