Job Description:

Join this NICU Registered Nurse contract in Madison, WI, where you'll be an integral part of a specialized team caring for the tiniest patients in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This position offers a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including daytime and overnight hours, with the opportunity to work 2-3 weekends within a 6-week cycle. The role involves managing post-operative neonates, including those with G-tubes, trach/vents, and multiple ventilation modes. Your expertise with invasive and non-invasive ventilation, along with experience in a Level III/IV NICU, will be vital for providing high-level care. Epic electronic health record experience is required, along with BLS and NRP certifications. This assignment promises engaging challenges that will sharpen your neonatal nursing skills while experiencing the unique rhythm of Wisconsin's neonatal unit.
