Job Description:

Join a healthcare team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Augusta, GA, for a 14-week contract focused on adult to geriatric patient populations. This role involves providing direct patient care on a busy medical-surgical unit, handling an average of 48 patients across 49 rooms. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with floating within the facility to assist where needed. The unit utilizes Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems and requires Navy Blue scrubs. Certified in BLS, you should have at least one year of experience, but first-timers are welcome to apply. Expect a census ratio of approximately 1:5-6, with responsibilities including medication administration, patient assessments, and ensuring effective communication among team members.
