Job Description:

This SICU Registered Nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-acuity surgical intensive care unit, providing advanced patient recovery care including post-op CABG, valve repairs, transplants, and more. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, either three or four consecutive nights per week, with responsibilities that include managing complex post-surgical patients, operating in a floating capacity across ICUs and SDUs, and working with specialized equipment such as PA catheters and balloon pumps. Expect to be part of a team prepared for emergency responses, with the potential to be assigned to an "Emergency Team" during critical events. This assignment is ideal for experienced ICU nurses comfortable with rapid adaptations and high-stakes situations, ensuring continuous support to critically ill patients in a setting that emphasizes cutting-edge care and teamwork.
