Job Description:

This SICU Registered Nurse role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a high-acuity ICU setting, focusing on post-operative care for surgical recovery patients, including transplant recipients. You'll be part of a team that manages complex cases such as CABG, valve surgeries, and aortic dissections, with experience in PA catheters and balloon pumps highly preferred. The assignment includes floating to other ICUs and SDUs, providing a diverse clinical experience. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, either three or four days a week, for a total of 48 hours weekly over a period of 13 weeks. Emergency preparedness is important, as you may be assigned to an "Emergency Team," requiring flexibility to stay until events pass or be part of relief operations. Your focus will be on delivering vigilant, specialized patient care in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
