Job Description:

Join our team in South Bend, WA, for a 13-week contract as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS). This role offers 8-hour day shifts, providing a routine schedule to focus on technical expertise. You will work independently in all areas of the laboratory, including Blood Bank and Microbiology, with responsibilities involving instrument troubleshooting, daily and periodic maintenance, and performing various tests such as gram stains. The laboratory is equipped with advanced analyzers, including Beckman Coulter and Sysmex models, as well as molecular systems like BioFire Torch and Sofia 2. This assignment is unique for the opportunity to operate a broad range of diagnostic instruments in a small hospital setting, allowing for hands-on experience with complex laboratory workflows. Please note, housing is not provided for this position.
