Job Specifics:
Location: Charleston, SC
Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, evenings, Monday through Friday, with weekend and holiday rotation
Duration: 13 weeks, offering 40 hours per week
This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Lab Technician with at least two years of practical laboratory experience, particularly in hematology and chemistry. Certification by ASCP BOC or an equivalent relevant to the specialty lab is required. During this assignment, you'll support high-quality testing, perform maintenance and troubleshooting, and communicate technical findings. The facility allows for some flexibility with shift call-offs (one every two weeks) and local candidates are welcome on a case-by-case basis at a slightly reduced rate. Be aware that during hurricane season, assignments may include emergency response duties.
