Job Description:

Join us for a rewarding 13-week contract as an RN on a Medical Surgical unit in Henderson, North Carolina. This overnight shift (12 hours from 7PM to 7AM) offers a unique opportunity to hone your skills in a fast-paced environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. You'll be handling a variety of responsibilities, including starting IVs, inserting Foley catheters, NG tubes, and performing EKGs while managing high patient turnover. No call requirements allow you to focus on your work and experience a different side of healthcare, all while enjoying the scenic surroundings of Henderson. This assignment is perfect for RNs with at least one year of experience and prior travel assignments under their belt, ready to make a difference in a community-focused setting.

Facilities: 48-bed Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
Certifications Needed: NIH, ACLS, BLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year with at least one prior travel assignment; proficient in starting IVs, Foley and NG insertions, EKGs, and heparin drips. Experience with high patient turnover is preferred. No significant float requirements; may occasionally assist in inpatient rehab or ER.
