Job Description:

This 26-week travel contract places you in the bustling Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma Center in Peoria, Illinois. As an ER RN, you'll be immersed in a fast-paced environment where no two shifts are alike. You'll handle a wide spectrum of cases—from newborns to the critically ill, managing high-acuity patients with critical conditions such as strokes, heart attacks, and trauma. Expect to work 12-hour midshift rotations, providing care for patient populations with varying acuity levels, including stabilizing trauma patients, titrating critical drips, and interpreting cardiac rhythms from Phillips monitors. The role offers a rewarding opportunity to sharpen your skills in a teaching hospital setting, collaborate with specialized trauma teams, and experience the unique rhythm of Peoria’s healthcare scene.
