Job Description:

Join a fast-paced 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit as an RN on a 13-week contract in Wausau, WI. This role involves 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, providing a great opportunity to focus on complex patients including those on ventilators, trachs, and managing multiple critical conditions such as trauma, sepsis, and stroke. You'll be floating to higher acuity units as needed, especially during low census periods, with responsibilities including patient assessment, charting in EPIC, and collaboration with a dedicated team. Experience with trauma, ventilator management, and trach care is essential. This assignment offers consistent hours, a supportive environment, and the chance to hone skills in a leading facility that handles a wide variety of critical and stepdown cases.
