Job Description:

Join a teaching hospital as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) for a 13-week contract specializing in surgical services. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, providing support across multiple surgical specialties, including neuro, ortho trauma, plastics, GYN, ENT, and urology. You'll be actively involved in instrument and tray reprocessing for various procedures such as craniotomies, trauma surgeries, organ donations, and laparoscopic cases. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a trauma-level I setting with an emphasis on complex, multidisciplinary surgeries, ideal for techs with at least 2 years of experience and current BCLS and NBSTSA certifications. Call and holiday work are required, but you'll gain valuable exposure to a broad spectrum of surgical environments.
