Job Description:

Join a vibrant surgical ward as a PACU Registered Nurse where you'll handle a variety of post-anesthesia recovery care for patients undergoing general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, neurology, and vascular procedures. You'll work during 12-hour day shifts, with a schedule that keeps you Monday through Friday, leaving weekends free for personal adventures. This role includes occasional float duties to other PACUs and potentially managing ICU-level patients when needed. You'll be part of a busy, short-term acute care setting at a Level I Trauma Center, using Epic charting, with a focus on efficient patient throughput and safety. The position offers a competitive weekly gross pay with guaranteed hours, and ideal candidates will bring at least two years of recent PACU RN experience along with BLS and ACLS certification. Adaptability and professionalism are key as you stay until procedures conclude, even if they extend beyond shift hours. Orientation is held every other Friday to help you integrate smoothly into the team. This assignment promises variety and the opportunity to refine your recovery care skills in a fast-paced environment.
