Job Description:

This ICU float nursing contract in Phoenix offers an exciting opportunity to work within a Level I trauma center that manages highly complex cases across multiple ICU units, including neuro, cardiothoracic, and trauma intensive care. You will be expected to float between units such as Tower 2, Tower 4, and Neuro, providing specialized ICU care to critically ill patients. The role involves managing ventilators, critical drips, and telemonitoring, with an emphasis on maintaining sterile procedures during skills lab assessments. Unique to this assignment is the requirement to demonstrate competency with sterile field practices and the ability to adapt quickly to different ICU settings, including the neuro, cardiothoracic, and trauma areas. The shift is 12 hours overnight, with no call once on duty, and includes weekend shifts and holiday coverage as needed.
