Job Description:

This contract position places you on the cardiac med-surg unit at a busy hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing support within a 30-bed telemetry-focused unit. Your days will involve managing patients on various cardiac drips like Cardizem and heparin, monitoring EKG rhythms, and utilizing advanced telemetry equipment such as GE telemetry and Rover systems. Expect to collaborate with a skilled team, including unit secretaries and PCTs, and to use Meditech documentation. The role offers an engaging opportunity to apply your med-surg and cardiac expertise in a setting recognized for employee satisfaction and equipped with current technology. You'll be expected to demonstrate ACLS certification and proficiency in cardiac rhythm identification while providing care that keeps the unit running smoothly through scheduled, rotating staff coverage, including weekend shifts.
