Job Description:

This 16-week contract offers a hands-on opportunity to work as an RN in a busy post-surgical unit in Indianapolis. You'll be responsible for supporting post-op and medical patients, including those recovering from general and bariatric surgeries. The shift runs overnight from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a rotating schedule that includes every third weekend and holiday coverage. Expect to work three 12-hour nights weekly, providing consistent care in a unit equipped with modern tools like Pyxis and Epic EMR. Your role will involve managing patient drains, collaborating with a dedicated team, and ensuring smooth patient transitions during a fast-paced, demanding environment. It's a chance to showcase your teamwork, flexibility, and post-surgical experience in a professional setting that values patient advocacy and efficient care delivery.
