Job Description:

Join a reputable ICU unit in Rapid City for a 13-week travel nursing adventure. This role involves caring for complex ICU patients, including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases. You'll work on a mixed unit divided into pods, with the opportunity to handle a wide variety of critical cases, from ARDS and MI to heavy trauma scenarios. Enjoy the challenge of managing high-acuity patients with RN-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:3, depending on the situation. The ideal traveler has at least two years of ICU experience outside of travel roles, holds current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications, and is comfortable working a demanding 48-hour week in a fast-paced environment. Epic experience and skills with ventilator management, vasopressors, and proning are highly valued. This assignment offers a chance to expand your critical care expertise while working alongside dedicated staff, including intensivists and resource nurses. Please note, prior ICU travel experience is required, and the role does not include patient care outside of ICU settings.
