Job Description:

This contract opportunity is perfect for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in progressive care units. You'll be stepping into a 12-bed unit where you'll manage patients experiencing conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, DKA, and post-cardiac procedures. Your role involves complex tasks such as CVL management, arterial lines, tube feeding, and drip titration with medications like Levophed, Amiodarone, and Insulin. You'll be supported by an experienced charge nurse and resource staff, with opportunities for charting in Meditech Expanse and managing equipment like Alaris pumps and Pyxis medication systems. This assignment offers a lively schedule with 12-hour night shifts, rotating every other weekend, and a chance to showcase your skills in a fast-paced setting. A successful candidate will pass an EKG competency exam and have at least 2 years of acute care RN experience, ready to document and coordinate patient care seamlessly while working within a team that values professionalism and efficiency.
