Job Description:

Step into an exciting Labor & Delivery/Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) role in Soldotna, Alaska, where you’ll support the full journey across LDRP spaces and nursery/postpartum areas. This 12-hour nights assignment is built for an RN who enjoys hands-on, goal-directed work—helping manage care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing while working within established departmental and facility policies.

You’ll handle unit workflows and documentation in Meditech and OBIX, with supplies managed through Pyxis Supply Stations. Bedside fetal monitoring equipment is part of the daily rhythm, and you’ll also use OBIX and Meditech tools as you go.

What makes this assignment unique: up to 24-hour call-offs are possible with no penalty during the 13-week term, and floating across over units/departments may be required. Training is provided, including a 3-day Meditech and OBIX training plus unit-specific orientation.

Minimum requirements include an active Alaska RN license and at least 2 years of recent LDRP experience. Also required: HS AED, BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
