Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced Emergency Department setting in Rochester, New York as an RN travel healthcare professional supporting a large, modern ED with 80 treatment spaces. This contract offers a true mix of care and complexity, including specialized geriatric emergency care within an ACEP-accredited geriatric ED model.

You’ll work a rotating 12-hour shift structure with coverage across day and night patterns (3A-3P / 7A-7P rotation), totaling 36 hours per week. Expect a collaborative, supportive team and strong leadership while you handle the day-to-day workflow of an ED environment and complete documentation in Epic.

This is an assignment for someone who thrives in high-acuity moments, values teamwork, and is prepared for required weekend coverage—one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend—plus at least 1 holiday during the contract.

Expect typical seasonal variability with cool to mild conditions, occasional breezy days, and a mix of cloud cover and clear spells. It’s a good time to plan for shifting temperatures throughout the day.
