Job Description:

Step into a high-acuity CVOR role supporting complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures in Falls Church, Virginia. This 13-week travel assignment features 12-hour day shifts (36.0 hours per week) with call approximately 1–2 shifts Monday–Friday, plus 1 weekend per month. You’ll scrub and assist across a wide range of adult cases, including coronary artery bypass, ascending aortic aneurysms, valve repair and replacement, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Mitraclip), thoracic organ (heart and lung) transplant, ECMO, ventricular assist devices, along with redo and emergent cases.

The work is protocol-driven with numerous research initiatives ongoing, where strong critical thinking and fast multitasking matter moment to moment. A key differentiator for this position is the requirement for summer and winter holiday coverage per department needs, with any requested time off added to the end of the contract to complete a full 13 working weeks. CVOR experience must include at least 2 years of recent scrub experience in complex cases.
