Job Description:

Support a high-acuity CVOR environment as a Certified Surgical Technician on a travel contract in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role centers on open-heart surgical coverage in a CVOR setting, supporting procedures such as CABG, valve cases, TAVR standby, laser lead standby, thoracic robotic-assisted procedures, and general emergent open-heart cases. You’ll work 8 hour days, Monday–Friday, with rotating on-call coverage after hours and weekends.

A key requirement is the ability to perform vein harvesting independently, including competence with the Maquet Hemopro 2 system. In addition to preparing and supporting CVOR operations, you will contribute to accurate unit workflows by handling required data collection responsibilities related to the CVOR.

Weather:

Expect bright, dry days with plenty of sunshine and mild evening temperatures. Conditions are typically comfortable outdoors, with low humidity and minimal rainfall.
