Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced Emergency Department resource role delivering skilled care across a Level III Trauma setting within a teaching hospital. This travel position supports ED coverage with experience spanning trauma response, stroke-focused workflows, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and readiness for time-sensitive interventions. You’ll encounter a wide range of cases—from GSWs, stabbings, MVA and serious falls to chest pain evaluations, stroke presentations, respiratory illnesses, GI disorders and infections, AKI/CKD, heart failure, and patients requiring fluid resuscitation and/or blood products.

Work nights on a 12-hour schedule and help keep momentum during weekend rotations (every other weekend) with no call expectations for travelers. Depending on regional needs, you may be asked to float within the designated area and facilities in your region, staying within your scope of practice. Orientation includes 2 days of departmental training, plus NEO, and you’ll work with EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitoring equipment.

If you’re an ED RN with strong trauma and stroke experience—and comfort with advanced ED priorities like conscious sedation, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management, critical care drips, and blood administration—this assignment offers a clear, focused specialty-driven travel experience.
