Job Description:

This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced RNs specializing in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Medsurg/Peds units. You'll work in a hospital setting with four OB beds and six postpartum beds, including a dedicated triage bed. The role involves rotating 12-hour night shifts every three weeks, with responsibilities including managing OB labor and delivery, postpartum care, and critical patient monitoring such as titrating drips like Pitocin and cardiac medications. You'll utilize Philips tele monitors and GE EFM systems, troubleshoot respiratory equipment, support cross-unit floatings, and collaborate with in-house on-call specialists. This assignment offers a chance to apply your skills in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment that requires effective communication and adaptability, all while working with a team that values approachability and motivation.
