Job Description:

Join our team for a rewarding travel nursing assignment at Mercy Southeast Hospital, where you'll work in the dedicated Cardiac Med Intermediate Care Unit. This role focuses on caring for patients with heart, lung, and vascular issues, including those recovering from surgery or dealing with complex conditions like sepsis or pneumonia. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, managing IV therapy and vaso drips, monitoring patient status, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. Expect to be part of a close-knit team, wearing black scrubs on 12-hour night shifts, providing vital care in a 14-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:3-4. The unique setting offers the chance to work with progressive cardiac and vascular patients in a hospital recognized for its comprehensive cardiac and stroke care programs. Your expertise in EPIC electronic medical records and previous stepdown experience will ensure seamless patient management in this fast-paced environment.
