Job Description:

This contract position places you in the Forensics Unit, where you'll be caring for the incarcerated population. Your shift will be 12-hour nights, giving you a chance to experience the unique environment of forensic corrections. You'll be responsible for reading telemetry strips, ensuring proper distribution of heparin, and working within your scope of practice. Prior testing on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution is required, along with certifications in BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, and CPI (or MAB). Floating within the facility is required, and some shifts may require charge or preceptor oversight. This opportunity is tailored for candidates with at least two years of recent experience who are reliable, transparent, and able to work weekends and holidays. Orientation is scheduled for M/S, Tele, and M/S Tele (Forensics). The contract spans 13 weeks, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours, offering a competitive gross weekly pay of approximately $1,660.78. Given the nature of the work, adherence to schedule and demonstration of professionalism are essential traits for success in this role.
