Job Description:

This travel assignment at Carlsbad Medical Center offers a unique opportunity for L&D RNs to work predominantly during night shifts in a dedicated Labor, Delivery, & Postpartum (LDRP) unit. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to women in antepartum triage, active labor, and postpartum, including neonatal care within the special care nursery. The role involves managing a variety of patient scenarios, utilizing your critical thinking skills to ensure safe and efficient deliveries. With an emphasis on independence and leadership, you’ll coordinate care, supervise staff, and support new parents through some of their most significant moments. The setting is fast-paced yet rewarding, with a focus on delivering high-quality maternal and neonatal care, all in a unit with a small, focused team.
