Job Description:

Join this 8-week contract on the outpatient medical-surgical step-down unit at the Mission Main campus in Asheville, North Carolina. You will be working 12-hour day shifts, providing vital support in a fast-paced environment where quick patient turnover and accurate telemetry monitoring are key. The role involves handling a mix of inpatient overflow cases with a focus on short stay patients, utilizing Cerner electronic medical records and bedside telemetry equipment. Candidates should bring a positive attitude, compassion, and experience in progressive care settings. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, and floating to other units may be necessary during the assignment. This opportunity offers a chance to engage with a dedicated team while gaining valuable specialized experience in a vibrant mountain city.
