Job Description:

This position focuses on bed management and patient placement coordination within an acute care setting. The traveler will be responsible for accurately assigning patients to the appropriate beds across multiple hospitals, utilizing systems like TeleTracking and Cerner. The role involves careful critical thinking to address bed requests that may not align perfectly with hospital protocols. The work is performed primarily on several screens working simultaneously, with frequent communication with hospital leadership. It’s an administrative role that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. The position features a set schedule of 12-hour days, working three days a week—perfect for those who enjoy a predictable routine and the chance to experience various hospital environments without direct patient care responsibilities.
