Job Description:

This travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a Level II Special Care Nursery, caring for babies 32 weeks and above. RNs in this role will handle neonatal patients on CPAP and high flow, including feeder-growers and infants with conditions such as R/S Sepsis and Hyperbili. The role involves assisting in a specialized setting that requires a minimum of 2 years NICU experience, preferably with Level 3 NICU background, and the ability to perform skills like Foley catheter insertion from day one. The shifts are 12 hours overnight, providing a steady rhythm for those who prefer a night owl schedule. The position supports a standard 36-hour week over 14 weeks, with responsibilities including managing neonatal acuity and collaborating with a 24/7 team of NNPs and pediatricians. This contract is an excellent fit for experienced NICU nurses who enjoy a focus on neonatal intensive care in a supportive environment with essential equipment like CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow.
