Job Description:

Join a high-acuity, cardiac-focused progressive care unit as a travel nurse in Atlanta. This assignment is designed for an experienced cardiac nurse who can independently interpret cardiac rhythms, manage complex cardiac drips, and care for patients with conditions including heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, fluid volume overload, congenital heart disease, and cardiac transplant or LVAD needs. You will support frequent admissions and discharges, significant procedural volume, and care involving catheterizations, sheath removal, stent placement, valve replacement procedures, STEMI/NSTEMI care, pacemakers, ICDs, cardioversions, and ablations. The assignment uses 12-hour night shifts, with floating limited to similar cardiac or PCU units. EPIC experience, recent cardiac unit experience, chest tube experience, and successful completion of a proctored dysrhythmia exam are required.
