Job Description:

This CCU Registered Nurse position places you in the cardiac intensive care setting, focusing on critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention. Your role will involve managing complex hemodynamic support, including Swan-Ganz catheter monitoring, vasoactive drips, and arterial lines. You'll be working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week, and every other weekend and holiday off. The assignment offers a chance to deepen your expertise in post-procedure care for STEMI patients, TAVRs, and other cardiac emergencies. It's a highly specialized opportunity demanding clinical review and adherence to UVA's float policy, with a maximum of 40 hours for time off. Strong familiarity with the specific procedures and protocols in cardiac ICU is essential.
